As a whole, the students at our school come from diverse backgrounds and lower social economics. Our school is a relatively small K-8 elementary school with 3 teachers per grade level and an average of 28 students per class. My current seventh graders are a wonderful group of young adults who consistently strive to improve themselves both socially and academically. Since our students come from such a diverse background our classroom discussions are rich in different points of view and solutions to problems.
