Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication these are all important skills in which I want my students to be able to learn and thrive. The Kindergarten, first, and second grade students will really benefit from these "hands-on" tools to be used within the classroom to help them see how they can create and program their own mouse or robot. The coding activities I have chosen are highly engaging tool for students to collaborate with each other, use teamwork, hands-on materials, and technology at the same time to successfully practice literacy and math standards. This will help create an environment that promotes success for all learners in my class and provide them with the skills they need to continue to be life long learners.
