My class is now hosted in a portable outside of the school building. For the students to feel a part of the school, the portable classroom needs to emit a safe space for my students. We need a comfortable, friendly, and engaging classroom to learn in every day. Our meeting area needs a classroom rug that invites students to want to learn. We gather on the carpet quite frequently throughout the day for Morning Meetings and Station Time. The new carpet will bring a bright and happy setting for my students. Students will enjoy the comfortable space for reading or working in small groups with their study buddy or with their teacher. The area would enhance the overall learning environment in our classroom.
