I work in an urban public schools in MA. It is a large, low-income school where education is usually not at the top of their priority list. My students are growing up in a very tough city that expects kids to grow up and deal with harsh realities at a very young age. They are energetic, opinionated and eager to grow. They have huge dreams and inspirations but are usually lost as to how to achieve them. They're 8th graders trying to find their way in the world.

About my class
