A huge part of teaching is individualizing instruction for my students. Each of them have specific learning styles; visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. My visual learners and the rest of my students will be reached with a new and improved board. I can not only talk about my lessons, articles, or book, but show them, and model for them how to find relevant information in media that broadens their understanding of concepts they never put together before. I have found students are more engaged in their learning when I am able to model how to navigate their online learning platform and enable them to be independent learners. When COVID-19 unfortunately forces us to be home from time to time, it is even more important that I be able to impart as much information, as efficiently as possible when they are in my classroom. I believe my students will do amazing things and I do not want a lack of technology to be one more obstacle my students have to overcome.
