My students attend a public school in the Midwest. We are one of three elementary schools in our town, but considered a low income school. Approximately 60% of our students come from low income homes and receive free or reduced lunch. My students are in 3rd and 4th grade and attend special education classes for all or part of their school day. The students in my room each struggle with their own learning difficulties; however, all of them are wonderful, hard working, and eager to learn.
