Our class is a part of a Florida charter school that has adopted the cluster approach. As teachers, we form teams of grade groups level groups and then the teachers specialize in a specific content area. One teacher specializes in reading, writing, and social studies, while the other teacher specializes in math and science. The students rotate to each teacher throughout the day, much like a middle school. My 5th grade reading classes love to read and are very enthusiastic about learning.
