My classroom is made up of 19 amazing 7 and 8 year old students. Each day they arrive to school ready to learn. Our day is spent reading, writing and solving math problems. Finding opportunities to integrate creative expression and movement throught the school day is a priority in the development of the whole child. This creative expression can be achieved through a variety of modalities and provides opportunities to identify, process and express emotions. The materials and manipulatives will further my students' learning and make literacy fun!
