My school is a Title 1, which means a vast majority of the students come from the lowest form of poverty there is. It is very crucial that all students be allowed to have the same access to instructional resources and technology that a private school has in order to have that same opportunity to be a success in life. Currently I have to make resources that my students use in their stations/centers because there are not any bought research based resources available. There are a total of four desktops computers in our room, however, with 24 students that's hardly enough to be effective for our daily use of them. I know that the Kindles would be that added bonus to our classroom. It will allow the students to have more access to the digital world since many do not have computers at home. Again, having these resources would be a great addition to our classroom.
