I teach science to 150 kids a week at a local public Charter School. Kids Unlimited started over a decade ago in an old bank building, and has grown into a K-5 Charter School campus thanks to local support. We have about 90% free and reduced lunch, and 60% ELL students learning English, so we have many opportunities for empowerment. I love the new experiences we can bring to these kids with just a little help from our community. When you see a child eat a homegrown tomato for the first time, or write about pulling up their first carrot, you know they will remember that lesson for a lifetime. When you see their Invention Convention ideas come to life before your eyes, you feel their sense of accomplishment. We change lives every day in such small victories that add up to great changes. Thanks for being part of that change.
