My 8th grade students are bright, charismatic and eager to learn. These young teenagers are economically and racially diverse and unique in many different ways. My students are hungry to read new and exciting books with characters whom they can connect with. It is my hope to fuel their hunger by introducing amazingly strong, resilient and vibrant characters to them.
