Although our school is Title 1 Renaissance with mostly Hispanic students on free and/or reduced lunch, you would never know it by looking at our test scores. Our school continues to be an "A" school and our students continue to break records despite their socioeconomic status. In my opinion, the recipe for their success is encouragement, love and support. They have the support of their teachers, family and most of all friends. However, this support only goes so far. Unfortunately due to a lack of funding and a practically non-existent PTA budget, the school is in need of financial assistance to support certain necessary projects.
