I serve students with Autism and other disabilities, but that does not define them. The students who I serve are kind, funny, smart, and caring. I have the privilige to teach amazing kids. The kids have a way of melting hearts and changing minds when they get a chance. The creativity they show everyday is amazing. They each have a different way of showing their talents. The cozy corner will give them a place to reenergize and recover from over stimulation. Also, sometimes they need extra stimulation to focus. The kids don't have much at home but they deserve to have a wonderful place at school to regulate their emotions to optimize their learning potential. Each student I serve will benefit from this space. The items in the cozy corner will be used for this year and many years to come.
