This year I am working with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders who have learning disabilities and developmental delays. We have lots of fun reading about all kinds of people and working on developing a love of learning and skills to help them throughout their lives. There is a princess lover who has taken off with blending words, a future firefighter who is beginning to understand how numbers work, a slew of 3rd graders who are trying to figure out who they are and who they are going to become, among others.
