My students are so fun and inspiring! They love school already and have some great academic skills that we will be building on. They are learning about a growth mindset and being kind. Through the year they will learn what it means to show integrity, how to find a balance between work and play, how to be flexible in life and most importantly to believe in themselves. We have already started learning what it means to "fill a bucket" with kindness. They know everyone walks around with an invisible bucket, and their words and actions can either make the other person feel better ( a full bucket), or worse (an empty bucket). They were happy to discover that when they fill someone's bucket, they also fill up their own. They love stories, music, playing and making friends. They get excited when I introduce new materials for learning. They have so much positive energy! They make teaching so fun!
