With the changes in our school environment, it is essential for students to make connections to each other, as well as to the world around them. I will be able to video conference with students and provide synchronous learning experiences for them and their classmates. These materials will allow my students to interact with each other and the scientific community, whether they are learning from home or school. Since field trips are no longer allowed, I plan to use these items to implement virtual field trip, as well as video conferences with experts in the field of science. These items will bridge the gap that COVID-19 has created in learning.
