My school is located in community with a high population of immigrants, in a school district with very little resources to provide students. Many of my students' parents work multiple jobs to make ends meet and some cannot provide the ideal time at home to support their child's education. Although some of their circumstances are difficult, all of my students are eager and excited to learn every day. Kindergarten is one of the most exciting years of a child's education and I strive to help them develop into confident and mindful children with an unquenchable thirst for learning! I encourage them to explore their world as a whole class, in small groups, and individually. I've become creative in my methods of teaching and organizing instruction, however, supplies are very limited and at times this puts a strain on my teaching. Your donation would allow my students to grow and continue to flourish in their development.
