The requested carpet, beanbag seat, and giant comfy pillows will be used to create a safe space that will help students who have a difficult time socially and emotionally. The materials will allow them to self-regulate as well as read while having an emotional crisis during the school day. This calming corner will allow the students to know that the counselor's office is thier safe space to talk, to share, and step away while in the midst of a very difficult moment or episode. It will be a space of peace and redirection. A place of safety.

About my class
