My students are absolutely amazing. They are intelligent, kind, funny, and love to read! I have students in my class of mixed ability, race, and all different types of families, but in the end they all have one thing in common, they love reading! Each time they finish a chapter book it is a huge accomplishment, and you can see satisfaction on their faces. They love to share what they've read and recommend books to each other. They cannot always escape difficult situations in their life, but for the time they spend reading they can escape on an adventure throughout history with Jack and Annie, or take a walk through a haunted mystery with R.L. Stine.

About my class
