I'm a high school special education teacher at a Title One school. My class is a Structured Learning Classroom (SLC) comprised of students with multiple disabilities. I teach them social and study skills. My SLC students come to me when they need a break from their general education classrooms (or just for a snack). While in my room, we work on coping skills, as well as working on classwork from their other classes.
