My students come from Spanish speaking countries and are placed in a specialized Newcomer program here at Ochoa Middle School. The purpose of the program is for students to learn English while retaining Spanish. My students work hard and laugh hard too! My number one priority is to make the classroom an enjoyable place for learning. Adjusting to a new culture takes time and the classroom environment we create allows students to feel like school is a second home!

About my class
