It was important for my 3 graders ( black and brown children) to see the possibilities in this world. So I begin to invite friends of mine ( Mayor, Assemblymen, former Mayors ) that look like them to read stories of characters that look like them. One reader who is a Author and Publisher of books offered our class the opportunity to write our own book! We have a total of 22 students. Ms. Jody Durick, the Principal is very excited about the project and will write a brief foreword for the book. To make this happen, we need your help. We need to raise funds for the illustrations, publishing and the book signing. If you are able to donated, we would be so grateful!! Anything you can give will be a great help. Each donor's name will be listed on the THANK YOU page of the book.
