Welcome to my Donors Choose page for my wonderful Vena Elementary students and families. I have been teaching here for 20 of my 26 teaching years and I am proud to say that Vena Elementary is the gem of the San Fernando Valley schools at LAUSD. Although our 75% of our families are considered low income, they are hard working parents who care deeply for their children and want them to experience as many successes in life. I have the privilege of teaching our special needs population here as the resource specialist teacher. My students have many different types of eligibilities for special education that include learning disabilities, autism, other health impairment, speech and language delays, intellectual delays, and many more. Thank you so much for coming to my page and considering donating to support my awesome students! They inspire me every single day and I am so lucky to have them in my life.
