Students love playing with my dollhouse in my office. It is a great way to break the ice. It is also a great tool to help students open up and share about worries, happy times, their families, and other strong emotions. It is fun to see their creative side come out as they play. My dollhouse desperatley needs new furniture. The furniture that I use now was given to me years ago. When it was given to me it was outdated at that time. However, I happily took it because it was better than nothing! Have more realistic and up to date furniture will help the students create a more authentic house. I hope this help them relate more to their own house.
