My students range from 3-5 years old and are faced with an array of disabilities such as Down's Syndrome and Autism. They live in a large urban area and attend a school where 95% of the kids are in the free and reduced lunch program. Despite all their challenges, they bring joy and hope to the world every day by smiling, learning and discovering. They make me so happy and proud to be a teacher!
