I teach in a public school in Arizona. My 8th grade students come from many different backgrounds, ethnic groups, and economic situations. The range of academic abilities and learning styles in my classroom is vast. I also have an above average number of special needs students. Because of this it is important for me to provide as many different types of learning opportunities as possible. My students are very eager to learn and are inquisitive. They love visual assignments and lessons. Like most, my kids connect to seeing and doing.
