Our school is a Title I school and is unique due to our high percentage of ESL students. Our elementary school has a predominately Hispanic population as well as white, African American,and Asian students. In the fifth grade, students take the TCAP Writing Test. I teach all the 5th grade writing to 76 students. At the present time, our school has been wired for wireless capabilities, but we have no wireless enabled computers. My students are limited at this time to white board instructor and paper and pencil activities. They need inspiration from technology that is not available to them. We need to excite them with the twenty-first century digital age that other students use in other schools across the country. I want my students to have the classroom resources that they deserve.
