The Students that I work with are part of the special education population. They have variety of learning disabilities,including reading, writing, comprehension and processing. I have found that strong visuals are very important to make connections to understanding what is being presented. Labeling and signage in the classroom encourages and improves vocabulary and reading as well as spelling.
