Children need to be able to hold and use scissors and pencils. It can be difficult to write if you do not have the needed fine motor skills. After a year of working from home on the computer, students need to strengthen the muscles in their hands to help them use scissors and write legibly. By donating to our project, you will not only help to build fine motor skills, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Thoughtfully planned activities will not only help the muscles but also increase the writing stamina as expectations increase in third grade. And, of course, they are fun!
