I teach 18 first grade students in a Title One school in Florida. I love teaching first graders because this is the year that they blossom as readers. Most of the students come in to my classroom as beginning readers. I want them to leave my classroom with not only the ability to be strong readers, but also I want them to leave the classroom with a LOVE for reading!
