I have approximately 507 students at Deer Park Elementary! As their music teacher, I see them once a week for 50 minutes. The students come from culturally diverse backgrounds and they all have tons of energy, curiosity and enthusiasm for life and learning! I am seeking funds to purchase music for an upcoming holiday concert featuring grades 4 and 5. In a couple of separate projects, I would like to seek funds to purchase replacement ribbon wands, scarves, egg shakers, etc. that I use with grades k-2 primarily and then a large treble clef classroom rug for everyone (k-5). I would use this as a comfortable place for the students to sit and as a teaching aid for learning the lines and spaces of the staff! Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
