My name is Tricia Brinson and I am blessed to teach a class of preschoolers with special needs. Most of the children that are in my class have developmental delays and all have speech and language delays. My job is to teach my children the necessary skills they will need to succeed in a "typical" kindergarten class. The most important skill they will need is the ability to communicate their thoughts and ideas. We integrate language skills throughout our school day. We also spend time working on our readiness skills - letter knowledge, number recognition, counting, etc. No two days are ever the same in my classroom!!!
