My students are active learners that love to be challenged. We are a low income school, but not enough students qualify for free/reduced lunch for us to be eligible to receive additional Title-One funds. Therefore, we have all of the challenges but none of the monetary support of a Title-One school. We have 4 desktop computers that work, most of the time. However, with 24 students, it's hard to get them all involved with the technology. With the Fire tablets, I'll be able to get my students FIRED up for Reading and Writing in the 21st Century. We will be able to differentiate our lessons more fully, giving the students further access to technology that will have them engaged, excited, and FIRED UP for learning!
