These students attend our pre-K classroom because they have been identified as high needs, at risk students. In order to prepare them for Kindergarten, these children join us in pre-Kindergarten to expose them to the knowledge base and English skills that many of their peers already have. Among the many goals we have for them are English acquisition goals, social-emotional goals, behavior goals, school familiarization goals, and academic goals.
