The access to an Apple iPad will help my students reach the Nevada Academic Content Standards Reading Standards for Literature 7.10. By the end of the year, read and comprehend literature, including stories, dramas, and poems, in the grades 6–8 text complexity band proficiently, with scaffolding as needed at the high end of the range. Having access to online books will help my students access grade-level curriculum just like their peers. When they access online books, they will read more and increase their reading and writing skills for their future.

About my class
