I teach at a high poverty, Title I school, where most of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students come from families who are not able to provide the supplies they need for every day use. I have many loving, kind students, who want to be there and soak in everything like sponges. Several parents cannot give them the support they need at home, because they either speak another language, or they can't read themselves.

About my class
