I aspire for my classroom to be a warm, inviting, and positive learning community. Currently, my classroom. is not in the best condition, which I am hoping to change. The paint is chipping off horribly, and the walls have faded. I am a firm believer that the learning environment has a huge impact on students learning. Therefore, I would like to paint the walls in my classroom to give the room a fresh, more vibrant, and positive look and feel. My students come from a variety of different backgrounds. Many of them are low-income. I chose to paint the classroom blue because it is such are calming and relaxing color. Studies have also shown that the color blue is capable of improving reading comprehension skills. The color blue also has the ability to reduce stress and make people feel much happier. These are all great benefits for my student's mental health and learning abilities.
