High School is stressful. Having a comfy chair to relax in and read a good book is a great way to destress and refocus. Flexible seating promotes optimum blood flow, which send more oxygen to the brain. Having bean bag chairs in my classroom library will demonstrate to the students that it is a relaxing place to hang out and promote literacy. Literacy at all stages of development is essential. Having a classroom library will only further promote my students to read not just for school, but for fun! With books ranging from fantasy teen novels, to graphic novels, to nonfiction--there's a little something for everyone.

About my class
