Our students have experienced many challenges over the last few years. Providing social emotional learning for our students will help support them as they improve their personal growth. Some of our students have had family members pass away due to different health issues and are learning how to grieve and what it means. Some of our students have been remote learning for almost two years and are needing to relearn how to socialize with others. These students are working on how to resolve conflicts, impulse control, and how to build friendships. Some of our small group lessons are geared towards peer pressure, empathy, bullying, and gossip. Some of our students are also in need of having one on one sessions. Our program services every student on campus. Social emotional learning is a big part of our campus.
