My middle school students are a diverse group this year. More than half of my classroom students are children of color, many from families who immigrated to this country over the last few years. They have survived Covid and they struggle in various ways, academically and emotionally. They are often in need of supplies, even after the school and their teachers provide for their basic needs. We find ourselves needing additional resources and enrichment items, especially items that support socio-emotional learning. I try to make sure my classroom is a safe, comfortable, and nurturing part of the school community, so the help of donors like you makes all the difference!

About my class
