I currently have 10 students (8 boys and 2 girls) with autism in my self-contained special education classroom. My students range in grade from the 2nd through 5th grade. They all have severe cognitive, social, emotional, independent functioning, fine motor, and communication challenges, and require maximum support in most areas to be successful at school.
