Often, my high school sophomores who struggle to read use leftover materials that are falling apart, or borrowed from the elementary and middle schools. Seedfolks is a special story about a number of people from all walks of life who end up working together to create a community garden. It has been a wonderful resource for my students and it would be even better to have some new copies, for the first time. This is a high-interest book about the benefits of coming together despite differences, and how we ought not make hasty assumptions about each other.
