Our classroom is in need of an organized, bright meeting area. The chosen rug will add color and visual cues to maintain proper behavior when gathered on the rug. By donating to our project, you will help make the classroom environment more welcoming while promoting individual boundaries and respect amongst classmates. Visually appealing environments help promote school pride and responsibility for materials. We will use the area for whole group activities including SEL, read alouds, and speaking and listening activities. Practice with listening and speaking activities promote self-esteem, communication skills, and reflection.

About my class
