Collaboration and hands-on activities are key components for my students' success. Currently, they enjoy working in groups as they believe that it gives them an opportunity to assist each others' weakness. My students, however, depends greatly on charts as a means of reminder of concepts learned. They also appreciate the opportunity when extended to them to be a part of the chart making process. As a result, the majority of the resources selected will be used in creating charts that will serve as reminders as we prepare to succeed in our upcoming assessment. Secondly, they love to display their work of heart which will be visual specifically during their research and display for Black History Month. Thus, the poster boards, markers, tapes and caddies will provide structure and organization as they work in groups to create their unique display boards.
