My student are in a self-contained unit for special education services. They are mostly non-verbal. In order for them to be able to communicate with others, get their needs met or get access to more of the world, we need to provide any mode of communication that they available to them. IPads offer an easy way for them to communicate as well as learn more about their world. There are many apps that can be put on an iPad that can help my students learn to communicate as well as meet IEP goals.
