My class gets real stir crazy in the winter. With below zero temps almost daily, we miss the outdoors. With a sand and water table, my K class can explore and play as if they are outside. Imagine their faces as they pretend they are playing like it's summer! They would be thrilled to get their hands in the dirt or splash in some water. I will supply learning materials to play in the sand and extend this activity. My plan is to change the theme twice a month to something new and exciting to explore!
