The materials in my cart are designed to target specific parts of literacy, reading comprehension, point of view, text structures, and writing prompts. These materials will allow my students to engage in exciting new ways to learn ELA. With these new materials as well as books, my students will be able to engage in social-emotional learning at the same time as reading and writing. It will allow them to have new materials to get them excited and interested in learning. Our school has worked over the last year to increase reading fluency to encourage our students to have a love of reading and books. With this, we have been able to increase reading scores across all grade levels. We now turn more focus onto writing. These materials will allow a child friendly approach to getting them more interested in writing as well as allow them to continue their journey towards reading fluently on grade level!
