The use of a tv/monitor is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in Social Studies, using the monitor for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. The monitor allows me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. By having the monitor, students will be able to watch powerpoints, presentations and this will allow them to increase their learning! We do a lot of hands-on activities that require parts of the lessons to be projected to the whole class.
