As an ESL teacher, it is very important for my students to get the proper equipment for testing. It can be very difficult for my students to block out any noises if they do not have their headphones. Having these distractions can impact my students' testing abilities and scores. All students deserve the proper equipment for testing! It is very important to have headphones when testing. Especially, while my English Learners are testing for the 4 domains. LISTENING, READING, SPEAKING, AND WRITING. Headphones are beneficial for listening comprehension and speech.
