Many of my students are falling in love with reading again after spending almost two years learning virtually. The look on their faces when they get to pick a book from the library and turn the pages warms my heart. I want to diversify our classroom library by adding books on love and acceptance of all different kinds of people. When my students read books I want them to be able to see examples of all different body types, skin colors, shapes and sizes. Not only do I want to build a love of reading in class, but a love of representation of all kinds of people. All you need is love!
